North Shore Airport offers a variety of hangar options for both private and commercial, with solutions tailored to suit different needs.

Ownership Options:

At North Shore Airport, we offer two primary paths to hangar ownership. In both cases, while the hangar structure is owned by you, the land remains owned by us, and a ground lease agreement is required.

• Buy: If you’re looking to purchase a hangar but aren’t sure where to begin, we can help connect you with available listings. Please note that many sales happen off-market, so while we do our best to stay informed, we may not always have active listings on hand.
• Build: If you prefer to build, all new opportunities are located in Precinct F. These projects require a minimum of four hangar units per build, but you’re not obligated to keep them all. It’s common to construct larger blocks and sell individual units afterward.

Most private hangars are located in Precinct F, with some also available in Precincts B and C.

Rental Options:

At North Shore Airport, we offer a range of rental options to suit your needs:

1. Sub-let an Existing Hangar: Sub-letting is a common and flexible option, and we can help connect you with hangar owners who may have space available. Depending on your needs, you may be able to sub-let part of a hangar or the entire space. This option is typically shared with one or two other aircraft and is the most popular rental method. Most sub-lets are located in Precinct F, though we also have some hangars in Precinct B that may be available for rent.
2. Rent in a Communal Hangar: Our larger communal hangars, located in Precincts B, C, and E, offer shared rental spaces. Prices vary depending on aircraft size (for example, approximately $600 per month for a Cessna 172). When renting in a communal hangar, you are renting directly from North Shore Airport.

North Shore Airport offers a range of commercial hangar options, primarily located in Precincts B and C. Both ownership and rental/lease arrangements are available, though sub-letting is typically not permitted for commercial premises.

• Ownership: If you choose to own a commercial hangar, the building will remain your property, while the land it sits on will be subject to a ground lease with North Shore Airport.
• Rental/Lease: For those interested in leasing or renting, all commercial builds in Precincts B and C are directly rented or leased from North Shore Airport.

Commercial hangar arrangements are generally more complex than private hangar agreements. We recommend interested parties contact us early to explore available options and navigate the process smoothly.
